Remarks
I joined this college because the environment of this college fascinated me and truly speaking I experienced that surroundings gives us a perfect feel of discipline. I was also attracted by the green cover of college, the ECOSYSTEM. The faculty welcomed me with a warm tone which bounded me to join this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college syllabus was last modified and updated in 2018. The curriculum is very well designed as it works more on giving us deeper insights into the topics which we studied in our school. Yes, we were provided Industrial exposure in our induction program. The faculties are very much supportive. Most of them are doctorates. My personal favorite is Professor Ravneet Kaur as she helped me a lot in building extracurricular skills.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are very low for on-campus placements. Alumni networking well as there are alumni visits and speeches conducted timely. The entrepreneurship cell of the college is well connected to IIT Kharagpur.
College Events
The campus life is really enjoyable. Regular events are conducted by various chapters like acm, IEEE, etc. Every year Funista is a lot which has a huge number of participation. The college wins a youth festival every year which better explains the standard of interest of college students and faculty members.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed Sikh Religion Examination Scholarship which consists of excusing Rupees 5000 per semester. There is no loan offered by the college. The college conducts the Sikh Religion Examination every year in the month of June.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure well justifies the fee. The college has an Internet speed of 7Mb/second. The WiFi is easily accessible. The sports facilities consist of the indoor swimming pool which is a special attraction. All the troop games and individual games court grounds are available. The library is well connected with around 7.5 lakhs of books and 123 journals. The labs have the types of equipment updated from time to time.
