Remarks

The college is very clean and the infrastructure is good. The college is in asansol which is about 2.5 hours from my hometown. So I could easily visit my parents every week. The placement record and the quality of teaching is really great. That's why i chose this college.

Teachers here are really highly qualified and really very much helpful in terms of study and cultural matters. The practical knowledge we usually gain from the labs is really helpful to improve our ability to work more conveniently in the industries

Placement Experience

About 70% of the students in our course got placed in reputed companies, like, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, LTI, Amazon and Keysight. These are the top recruiters. The highest package was offered by Byju's and the average salary in our batch is 3.3 LPA.

College Events

Cultural fest, named Leganzza, which is one of the biggest fests in Asansol are organised at our campus. Campus surroundings are good, but it is easy to reach. Everything is available within 2 kilometres. For extracurricular activities, there are many clubs for dance, drama, music, social services, etc.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
