Remarks

Because college has a decent placement for Computer Science and is one of the renowned private college in West Bengal. Besides that the only branch that can make your future from a private college is Computer Science and its one of the always prefered branch in a private college. College has a decent alumi background of Computer Science.

the course is up to the mark and faculties are decent in terms of private college the college is affiliated to makaut so it follows university syllabus Academics are decent when it comes to Computer Science branch

Placement Experience

PLacements are more decent than enough for a student who is in Computer Science IT and ECE Many serbice based companies come for recuritment and some product based company like Microsoft. Besides that there is pool campusing of Techno India Group in which lots of comapnies visit for placement.

From 2018 when we joined the college we took a lot of initiatives and because of that today we have Science and Tech club,Drama and Film Club,Photography Club and even Literary club. there is not much campus life as there are only two buildings so not much to boast about there is one basketball court and a park for students to hang out But we do have Eco park and cc2 nearby to hang out and not to forget biswa bamgla gate.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
