Remarks
I have chosen this course because I like computer science and engineering. The college should add some new innovation and technology. A lot of events are organised in our college like Anakhronos, Edge, Filanthrophia, TPl, Tickets and departmental fests. Many activities are also conducted here. Scholarships are only available for financially weak students of Bengal.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers in our college are very helpful. Specifically, Dharamdas Mondak, who is our head of department, is very good and very supportive. Other teachers like UKC sir and AKM sir are also good. Electrical engineering is a good course, but you have to go through industrial training to be industry-ready.
Placement Experience
About 75-80% of the students from the CSE course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 65,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro and Infosys visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered in our course is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. About 50% of the students from our course got an internship.
College Events
We have a good library and librarian is very supportive towards students. Infrastructure is good. We have a playground, but there is no common room for boys or girls. Labs are good with equipment. The medical facility is not available, and there is no hostel facility.
Campus Life
Techno India University campus is average, and the facilities available are also average. Classrooms are good. The college provides limited Wi-Fi facility up to 35 MB, so it is just to show off. The library always delays in offering books to us as it offers after 1 month of starting the course. The college does not provide hostel facility for students.
