Remarks

My mother always wanted me to take up journalism and then I found out about this college online, and I liked the way they made their programs and the faculty and everything. The college has people from the media industry coming to college and delivering talks or small workshops which is very informative and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

I haven't completed college yet, but I think some amount of industry exposure was provided. The course is also updated as per the BCU guidelines. Faculty members are cooperative and try to understand our situation and the classes are pretty Interactive

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

There are assured placements after the end of the course. I am still in my first year so I wouldn't be the best person to be able to answer this question as I haven't undergone the process myself. But I have seen our pg batch given month long internships after the end of their term. After the internship is over they may or may not be hired by the same news house or company

College Events

We had a sports class once a week. Apart from that, we have an annual fest - slant. And we also have sports day once a year which is really fun to be a part of. We also celebrate a few local festivals in college.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
