Bhavna Choudhury's Review On Satyawati College, New Delhi

It is one of the best universities in India, the campus placement is good. Because of all the societies and clubs and cells the exposure is far more than many other universities. Because of the location of the college, the opportunities for exploring the work life is better.

The course is good, but a little outdated. We were being taught subjects that are no longer used in the current industry. The faculty was pretty good and diverse, starting from the young fresh minds with their new way of teaching to the old schools with their experiences.

I interned in Times of India, as a web content writer for an amount of 5000 pm for a duration of 3 months. I got it through internshala. I interned in Mumbai Mirror, as a web content writer for an amount of 3000 pm for a duration of 3 months. I got it through internshala. I interned in Sportskeeda, as a web content writer for an amount of 1500 pm for a duration of 8 months. I got it through internshala. I am currently interning in Campus Inc and Grapevine, as a student representative for a duration of 1 year and continued. It is a certificate and lor based internship. I got in through interviews that were conducted and by filling a form they release start of every session

I am the hr of my placement cell. This year, near about 35-40 companies visited, offering variety of profiles including data processing, financial management, content writing and so on. About 25 students were placed. Due to the timing of the placement fair clashing with several others, the turnup for the event was a little lower than last year. Some of the companies that visited came by reference of college aluminis. Our Entrepreneur Cell was inaugurated this session only and by the amount of seminars held on entrepreneurship this year, I can say it is growing steady.

My campus life has been great. I am a very enthusiastic person when it comes to events. I have been a part of almost all the events. The department fests are just as amazing as the cultural. This year I was roped in to help organize the commerce fest which was a technical cum cultural fest and it was a huge success. Last year, i was asked to help out the student union fest, which again saw a massive crowd turn up.

Infrastructure wise our college was pretty poor. But being a government college and keeping in mind the annual fee we have to pay, I guess it is okay. We have a very good auditorium. The library and sports complex could use a little upgrading
