Remarks
The teachers of this college are very good. Teachers here are very helpful, qualified and very knowledgeable. They treat students as their own children, and they help us in whatever ways they can. But the course curriculum can be updated. Our mechanical workshop is not ready for all the experiments. If students want to do research, they can not do it here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teaching quality is good, But as the college is in West Bengal there is a lot of influence of Bengali language in teachers and the local students of Bengal. If you are from other states it would take a bit to cope up with them Teachers are helpful and there are some great mentors in my Department I. e Mechanical.
Placement Experience
Percentage of students placed are more from IT and CSE branches, certainly there is low placement offers for Core branches like CE, ME As more placement offers are from IT companies. Though students of core branches are placed but the number of students placed is way low than CSE, IT branch.
College Events
The library is not up to the mark, but the labs are pretty good. Classrooms are moderate, and the Wi-Fi facility is very poor. Sports and games are considered disgraceful in our college, and they won't let us play. There was ground in our college, which is now converted as a flower garden by the authority. That garden is also not allowed to play games and sports.
Campus Life
Classrooms and labs are good with Wi-Fi provided in the campus, Playground and park is also within the campus. There is Canteen within the college premises and also a cool cafeteria. Though the infrastructure was good when I got admission but now its much more renovated.
