Remarks
The college is decently good but since private there were some strictness with dressing and interaction. We could not enjoy a lot during college time. But it wasnt very bad also.
Entrance Preview
I took Pondicherry Entrance exam. I opted for this college because it had good placement in past year. Also because compared to all college this was liberal.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was good but more parctical session were required. We had more focus on Electrical and less on electronics. Subject like power electronics should be continues in two semester.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship in the prgram which was a major setbak. Indian engineering institution must ensure that graduate must undertake internship programme.
Placement Experience
The placement were mostly some companies. There were very few core company visiting the campus. Companies like Cognizant,TCS,ATOS did come.
College Events
College day,teachers day were celebrated. Apart from them each year engineering student did get a chance to celebrate the department day where they get to show heir project and works.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structue for pondicherrian is less as they used to get government scholarship from govt. But for other student the fees was quite high. Apart from that there were no extra expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is not sponsored from college but from government no loan facility is also available as far as i am aware of.
Campus Life
Campus life is good but could be better. Sports was good and other things such as extra curriculara activities need to be increased. Participation in other Competition were encouraged.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is compartively better than other college and the mess was good. But the location is quite inside for boys and near highway for girls. The basketball and badminton court is provided and each room has max of 3 people inside.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students were good to juniors and encourged us to participate. There is no alumini for college though. Interaction with them though was good. We had good team formed during college events.
Exam Structure
It was very hectic we had internal test,class test and multiple test through out the day. Though the gaps and holidays between exams were fair.
Faculty
The faculty of college were experienced and took the classes very well. But more practical oriented session were necessary. We need more MATLAB experience.
