Remarks
My elder sister is a graduate from this college, so I was already familiar with the infrastructure and faculty of the college. Dyal singh college not only has a good faculty but also the most convenient location as it has metro station exit just outside it's back gate. The campus area is quite large and it offers many sports activities like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, archery, etc. And it also has the most important thing that every college student wants : a Maggie Point.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think my course B.com(hons) is a little outdated but the faculty available to us were good. A few were not so good but we had some excellent teachers like Shalini ma'am ( income tax ), Sanjeevni ma'am (cab), etc.
Placement Experience
The placement cell in our college is quite active. It regularly gives information for any internship and holds seminars for the benefit of the students. We have quite big companies like KPMG, coming to recruit in our college.
College Events
Since I'm a commerce student, every year a Commerce fest is held by our Comsoc. It quite an interesting event with various activities and competitions to participate in. Not only the commerce department but all the other departments have their fests and competitions and all of them have quite interesting events planned for all the students who are attending.
Campus Life
We have many sports facilities available like archery, basketball, cricket, volleyball,football, etc, and I see students continuously practicing, so I guess the sports facility is good. I personally have never used the wi-fi facility so I can't comment on it. The library is quite nice and moderately built and the labs which we go to have functional computers so I guess it's also good.
