Remarks
Upon my rank in WBJEE I got CSE in Techno india university. I'll feel free to say that my dept is one of the best dept in the whole college and our departmental faculty members were always eager to help us and our respected coordinated Left no stone unturned to build us up, make us conform to the rules and regulations, come to class everyday, participate in inter and intra college competitions and she ensured that we get the best placement opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview
First of all, if u get into a department, you'll find a mixture of experienced and young bloods. Many faculty members even hold Ph.D. degree and they have profound knowledge on the subject. Some have good knowledge but can't teach that good. So it's on you. And coming to the course curriculum, it is obsolete and you've to study a lot of subjects in 4 years which u don't need at all. Be prepared for that.
Placement Experience
As for my CSE and IT dept, a lot of good MNCs came for placement and they took a hefty amount of students from the college. Apart from IT companies, a lot of companies came who offered they students the role of sales. By the end of 7th semester, almost 80% of my batch mates were placed. But one thing is that placement policy doesn't let you sit for any other placement if you crack a single company.
College Events
Of course, in terms of facilities in Techno India Salt Lake we are upset but the basic needs are available with proper functioning such as lab and library and Yes, Techno India University has no hostel facility as well lack of Wi-Fi on the campus.
Campus Life
There is no hostel facility provided from college. If you r coming from outside, you have to make your own fooding and lodging arrangements. Not to worry, you'll find a lot of places around. The college infrastructure is just okay. Wi-fi is not accessible for students.
