It is among the top 10 NIT's in india and the placements are good.also the infrastructure is appreciable. The place where it is situated is very accessible in terms of transportation. The faculty are very experienced.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus needs to updated. There was an industrial exposure which was airtel for our communication subject. The faculty is very experienced and provides good insights about the subject. I personally felt Swetha Shah ma'am very good.
Internships Opportunities
I have opted for Larsen and turbo ( L& T) internship. I have worked in EAIC department and the stipend was around 24,000. To get internship in L&T, first they conducted an aptitude exam. They shortlisted 10 students. In the second round there was GD and it was followed by interview. Totally 4 people got selected.
Placement Experience
There are many companies that visits the college for software engineer to business development executives. The top MNC's like JPMC, GE, HPCL etc visits the campus and offers a package around 12 - 16 lakhs. For people interested in core Airtel comes to the campus. Future first is one of the top package offering company in terms of manage profile. The alumni provides a sound network with the companies.
College Events
College hosts SPARSH as annual technical cum cultural fest. It is marked as Gujarat's biggest fest. Many students from outside universities participate in the competitions. The allocated budget is almost in crores and which is used effectively.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is wonderful with AC library. Single person occupied hostels (especially for females). The class room complex (CRC) has good occupancy. There is 24 hour Wi-fi facility available. The labs are equipped with the all the required needs.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is the best part with single occupied rooms. We are so close to the nature that sometimes we are waken by the chirps of birds.The hostel facility is provided according to the need of the student.
