Anonymous's Review On Kirori Mal College - [KMC], New Delhi

Delhi university is one of the top universities in india and it provides great academic atmosphere as well as exposure to other things as all the programs and festivals are organised by students.faculty working here are really very well qualified. They'll help you in every possible way. Many projects also gets seleted every year from du and it offers very great opportunity to students to participate in national and international quizzes, competitions etc. Du also produces a huge amount of sportsperson every year as it provides there students the well qualified coach and trainer. Apart from these things north campus is a very great attraction for the students. Tom uncle maggi point, kamla nagar market, majnu ka tila and many more popular attractions are there in campus. Overall du provides a great package for a student to enjoy his college life to the fullest. I opted for physical sciences because it consists of all the three major subjects i.e, physics,maths and chemistry, and one can opt masters in any or these three subjects in post graduation.

Courses at Delhi University gets updated regularly. Like my course physical sciences got updated in 2020. Also DU does not put pressure on their students at all. Facilities are very well qualified and helping here. They are always there for you. For example in my college many teachers are there like Mrs. Hemlata, Mr.Nandkishore sir who are always there to help you in every single possible way. These faculties also guides students on their projects and quizzes and for many more events.

Every college in Delhi University has a placement cell which helps students to get placed in good companies with decent packages. But as many courses in DU are not that much popular in outer world and are not professional courses, therefore only few students gets placed. But some courses like stats honors, eco honors, B.com honors see great placements. Companies like Bain,EY participates in college placements offering a good starting position at a decent salary. Package high as 5 lakh/annum are also seen in placements. Overall getting placed form here is a bit harder as only few students get that opportunity and for you to be one of them, you have to be in top 5-10% of the batch.

Kirori Mal is famous for its DJ night at cultural festival which is celebrated around march every year. KMC always celebrates every event in a very great manner. It celebrates every event from sanskrit week to hindi week to english week. And also these events are organized by students and hence providing students a good exposure. Almost every month it celebrates a event, whether be it freshers for newbies, farewell for seniors, cultural fests, tech fests, art exhibition, photography exhibition etc. North campus is also very famous for its elections. At the tine of election a jolly vibe takes over the campus. And also it provides a grear platform for students who want to see themselves as future leaders.

Almost every college in Delhi University has a very big campus. So,Kirori Mal also has a very large campus. Their is a very huge lawn in front of library where most of the events take place. Science block and commerce,arts block are separated in two buildings. Kirori Mal has a very huge 2 floor library consisting of two huge reading halls and a computer lab. Labs are also very well equipped with most recent and advanced equipments in a satisfying number. Apart from this kirori mal has a ground,gym, cricket nets, basketball court.
