Remarks
Biswa Bangla Sarani connects to the airport road which is also connected to Belgharia expressway. So, people from Barrackpore, Belgharia come to the college within 30 minutes if there is no traffic jam. People from Ranaghat, Naihati can get down at Bidhannagar railway station. Students from East Kolkata and Saltlake can also catch the buses like K1, KB16, KB22, Newtown-Dankuni and step down in front of the college. The south Kolkatans can connect with EM Bypass, Chingrihata- Saltlake, Newtown.
Course Curriculum Overview
Every respective faculty has a perspective specialisation degree in their corresponding subjects. Undergraduate courses like B.Tech in computer science, mechanical, civil, ECE, electrical, aeronautical, aerospace and also BBA and BCA are offered. Post-graduate courses like Masters in electrical engineering and also MCA are offered. Training programs and industrial programs are held by the college authority.
Placement Experience
Around12 out of 48 students were placed in top MNCs like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Capgemini. Many MNCs like Amazon, Wipro, Honeywell, IBM, etc, visited the campus for placements. If you prepare well for placements, getting placed is quite easy. The salary package offered is around 1.5 to 2 LPA.
College Events
Each classroom has the capacity to accommodate 60 to 70 students. Projectors are available to facilitate digital learning. A whiteboard and black, blue and red markers are also available. The laboratory has 30-40 computers. There are 2 laboratories. Computers have 4 GB RAM, Windows 10 OS. The canteen is awesome. Bengali and Chinese dishes are available. There are a football ground and a cricket ground. The annual sports are conducted every year. Free Wi-Fi service is available. You can get the password from faculty members. The college has a library with lots of books. The fine of Rs. 1 per day is given for the late deposit of book, and after 1 month, it would be Rs. 5 per day. Many magazines and dailies are also available.
Campus Life
Our college has not have very big campus like iits but we do have a sufficient space for everything. There is canteen, 2 play ground and two buildings (one of TINT and other of SNU). And all facilities are available here like labs etc.
