Remarks
I have choosen this college because my friends said that there will lot of freedom and no strict regulations like other colleges and also it is no 1 college in Chennai and based on my fee amount which is 1 lakh, moderate amount, these are the above factors I have choosen my college. I have opted my cour ECE because many said that if you choose ECE you can go by both the ways either software side r electronics core side.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is ECE which very poor,not updated,I am not provided to industrial exposure at all,the faculties have no subject we are better than our facility, there were no good faculty in my course,in our university.
Internships Opportunities
I have done internship in ECIL which I have to pay the money. In internship we worked on Arduino projects.
Placement Experience
Hexaware has visited our campus which offered software engineer role jobs, around 30 to 40 students were placed from both ECE and cse departments, placement process is some what good but only 5 to 10 core related companies visit our campus and other companies are like banking sector and non core companies, alumni network is not ggod at all and entrepreneur cell is bad working.
College Events
Our technical activities are also less we are just going to college Passing time in our classes and then going to our hostels,this is our daily routine in our campus nothing great on any day,in the same way extra curricular activities all are not even informed to us, only few sections participate themselves and our event hall is also too small,if we sit back end in our event hall we can't even see the stage r we can't even hear the stage. Yearly one r two festivals occur in our college which is done simply.our events are not too big and we don't participate even.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am availed of 50% scholarship based on my intermediate Percentage . I have joined through consultancy which is very comercial and brokers taking lakhs of rupees to provide college seat as commission
Campus Life
Poor infrastructure, poor labs facilities, no wi-fi, library building is large but books are very less and useless too. no great lab equipment at all. The infrastructure of the our college is very poor that there are only two good blocks which are of 6floors one is library and one is for all branches combined.
Hostel Facilities
I am staying in out side hostel, but I know the college hostel infrastructure is moderate not bad. Hostel rooms are some what good but based on hostel fee the rooms will be.our college hostel rooms are sharing and out side PG's are some what better and with good freedom. Our pg few is monthly 5000. And our college hostel fee is yearly around 1lakh.
