Remarks
One of the best colleges of IP University also close to my home. I wanted to study computer science and the faculty and infrastructure was the best present in any IP University college. Also connectivity through metro is one of the best features.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a little outdated although we have 2 internships after the 2nd and the 3rd year which are compulsory thus giving some industry exposure although lot of practical learning should be implemented to make the course more interesting and worthy.
Internships Opportunities
Air India- Web Developer Although college provides some opportunities for the internship like TCS, Nagarro etc. Apart from that most of the students do it on their own. Although college has a training program for the students who are not able to get an internship.
Placement Experience
There are some 35-40 companies visited in the last placement season in which salaries offered were in the range from 3 to 18 lakhs, one of the main recruiters are TCS apart from that some good companies like ZS, Thoughtworks, Adobe , Amazon visited the campus.
College Events
We have a lot of technical society and over the year there are lot of workshops, hackathons and fests are organised. The biggest of the hackathon is a 36 hour hackathon in which over 100 colleges participate and the winner gets a prize worth 50-60k.
Campus Life
A decent size ground , wifi enabled campus, comparatively small library and good equipments in labs. Although we have some restrictions on playing there is a specific time only when we can play. The best part of the campus are the canteens we have 6 canteens and you can choose from various variety of food to eat.
