Saint Xavier's College is an autonomous college which is deemed to Ranchi University is famous in the respective area and also throughout the states. It was ranked 33 among all the undergraduatating colleges in India for the commerce stream. It has its own entrance exam in the college itself once the results are out. You can register for the entrance test through online mode it's easy and fast.

In Saint Xavier's College Ranchi, the campus is mainly looking for call center jobs with the students are not comfortable with because some of the companies like Tata consultancy services and Godrej will give your a monthly salary of 15k to 20k in Kolkata which is equal to zero savings

I don't know about the scholarship of Saint Xavier's College and I haven't heard about the scholarship also. I know that inside the campus there is a bank called United Bank of India in which we paid our college fees and I think they also give loan facilities but I don't know much about it.

Campus Life

Saint Xavier college campus is very huge it's consists of a basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, 4 5 assembly halls, 3 conference hall, 3 main buildings. It has a huge library and different types of laboratories.

Hostel Facilities

I don't know about the hostel facilities at Saint Xavier's College because my home is in Ranchi itself. What I know about the hostel of Saint Xavier's College is that inside the campus there are two buildings which are hostels and they are average.

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
