Remarks

It's No. 1 college for BCA in Ghaziabad and No. 5 in North India. The placement record is also good. The exposure given by college through seminars,guest lectures, webinars, etc, is really beneficial in cracking interview for getting placed in companies. Apart from all this cultural environment is also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is pretty good as knowledge in every field is provided in ratio whether it is technical or management related, which makes a student a wholesome product for a company. Although Industrial Exposure given by college was satisfactory it could have been better because in the present scenario practical knowledge is more important and worthy than bookish knowledge. Talking about the faculties, the staff was always supportive and hardworking. Prof. Yogita Chauhan, Prof.Geeta & Prof. Amit Singh are some of the best teachers of our batch.

Companies such as Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, Collaebra, Tommy Hilfiger, etc visit our college for placements. Different profiles are offered by different companies such as software engineers, operation executives, Customer Relation Executive, and much more. Talking about PG courses like PGDM highest package was 15 lakhs/annum

College Events

Navratang is the annual fest of our college which is really popular among colleges of Ghaziabad. Cultural fest, Technical fest, workshops, sports championship, inter sports meet, a celebration of different days such as world dramatics day, independence day, World dance day, music day, etc. In cultural ITS is at its best.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are basically two kinds of scholarship. 1. percentage-based i) 70+% - Rs. 20000 scholarship ii) 90+% - above Rs. 50000 scholarship 2. Reference-based If any of your brother or sister is studying or studied earlier, then you will get Rs. 20000 scholarship

Campus Life

Although the campus in terms of acres is small, facilities such as central AC in each and every classroom, lab, the library were available. Projectors & Projecting screen for presentations and multimedia study approach is provided in every class. Well maintained library, sports complex, cafeteria & everything is satisfactory and maintained. Equipment in labs was also updated and all technology is used as far as possible and useful for students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Infrastructure is above Average. The capacity of the hostel is less than compared to other bigger colleges but rooms are pretty hygienic, well maintained and the best part is mess food is of pretty good quality and taste. As the students in the hostel are comparatively less so the food quality is maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

I got selected in DU North Campus, but that college was too far from my current location, so it was not feasible for me to commute daily, that's why I didn't take admission into that college. I chose ITS Ghaziabad as it has a very good reputation, has good placement opportunities, provides quality education and is feasible for me to travel every day. ITs is known for one of the good college in ghaziabad for BCA and it also offers great placements to students they try that every students must have a job before leaving college.
