Remarks

This college has a good reputation and and it is among the top Nits.Placement for computer science is 98 percent with an average package of 13-14 lac per annum.for mechanical engineering it is 90 percent with avg. package of 7-8 lac per annum. VLTC where lectures takes place is Asia's largest theatre complex.

faculties are well qualified but then it is an engineering colllege what can u expect. you need to push your self if u want to learn new. seniors are more help than faculties at least for first year after which faculties are good.Syllabus is not much Updated.mnit have an incubation centre where innovations are welcomed and proper funds are provided.

you can enjoy your campus life to its fullest if you are coming to mnit. It is located at the heart of the city. WTP and GT(malls) are walking distance.aftersomtime you'll feel like ghar to wtp and gt. lots of clubs and cafes are locates at vicinity of college. Now talking about events in MNIT, they never stop,one after other they never seem to cease,Blitz is a cultural fest,where many big stars like armaan malik,Ankit Tiwari had come. sphinx(tech fest) where innovations are welcomed

Campus Life

It has asia's largest lecture theatrical complex.sports facilities are also good and easily accessible. Gym facilities are also open to everyone. Library is big with lots of books but it needs to be updated in terms of infrastructure. wifi speed is okayish but in girls hostel you need to connect LAN.Labs equipment,though working properly but needs to be updated.Ambience of mechanical workshop absolutely gives an feeling of a garage.

Hostels infrastructure is outdated.for first year you need to share with one more for girls and for boys you need to share it with 2 after first year everyone wil have a seperate room. rent is around 2000 per month.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
