Remarks

CCSHAU, Hisar is one of the top agricultural Universities in India and it has its tie ups all over the world. It has been granted Sardar Patel outstanding institution award 2016 award, pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya krishi protsahan award and many other honours. I always have said this that studying in other state provide you great exposure and it's always a challenge for you to survive outside your comfort zone. Out university also gives students a great international exposure in the field of research in agriculture and allied sciences alsong with great enthusiasm and opportunities in the field of agrireneurship.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our course structure was typically primitive and theoretical as far as basic engineering is concerned, but when it comes to major courses of agricultural engineering, we were given a full fleged exposurez both in practical and theory, of each and every course we studied. Plus we had to do compulsory one month's Tractor training in one of the four premium tractor training and testing institutes spread across the country which made us dexter in terms of field knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipments. Plsu we had to do a compulsory internship cum training as per the interest in the permissible institutes or industry. Faculty in my college is one of the top most in the country with loads of field experience as whatever we do we do it to raise the farming standards in haryana and the country.

Internships Opportunities

Our college favours training in different research institutions or training centers and they usually don't offer you stipend.

Placement Experience

3

In our college, usually students prefers higher student prefer higher studies or a government job. But placement is fair enough. If you are willing and you have a decent OGPA in academics then you can get a job.

College Events

4

We have mountaineering club, literary society in the university level and many other clubs in college level. DSW provides each and every facilities in music, drama, dance and other extra curricular activities. We also have multiple competitions round the year where students willing to improve their inter personal skills or any other skill can take part and showcase thier talent. Meritorious students are given a chance to represent the university at various national events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being an ICAR student, I get National Talent Scholarship of rs. 3000 per month which was rs. 2000 till 2018. But if you're haryana resident a d has applied through the JEE or any other exam, and you have your name in the top 25% studnets in the class.then you get rs. 1200per month if you're a female and rs. 800 per months if you're a male student. For SC, ST you get a full tution fee refund by different schemes run as per the government regulations. For female students, university doesn't charge any tution fee for any kind of course.

Campus Life

4.5

Whole of the campus is equipped with wifi facility. Haryana, being a major state in the field of sports, we have around 17 or more Sports teaches of their respective sports guiding the students in the morning and evening sessions. We have a fully euipped giri center for sports activities which has a synthetic athletic track which is being renovated now a days. The previous one was the first and uniue of its kind in the country during its construction. Also University honour meritorious students in sports by providing them cash prizes and waiving off their mess fees. We also organize inter College sports competition of almost all sports and different atheletics events including a mega athletic meet where each and every age group memeber is given a chance to showcase their fitness and athletic abilities. Sports studnets of Sports Authority of India also practice in giri center and their hostel is also in the campus which motivates our studnets to practice more and more and be phyically fit. In a nutshell, we have got one of the best expsure and opportunities in sports.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel infrastructure is very well equipped with wifi, clean portable drinking water. Hygenic bathrooms and toilets are there. They are daily cleaned. There is a 24 hr. supply of water. Solar and electric gysers are there for winters. We have a student Cooperative mess which is run entirely by students under the leadership of hostel warden. An open badminton court and volley ball court is there. Top class Stag Table tennis table is there where you get Table tennis bats and balls on a regular basis by DSW. In common room, TV is there. Common room and mess are fitted with inverter for emergency.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
