Entrance Preview

JEE Mains, score was 220. I chose this college because I was getting the desired branch and the college is close to my home. It also has a really good reputation so it added to the factors.

Internships Opportunities

Have no idea about it as I'm in first year. However, a decent number of companies come for internships offers over here. A number of start ups approach the students too for various work.

Placement Experience

3.5

From what I've heard, generally packages of 5-7 lack are offered on an average, going upto 15L at times. Companies like musigma, TCS, Infosys, etc come for hiring.

College Events

3

Technical event is held in October normally. There are various fun filled events like robotics, virtual stock market, etc. Cultural even is in February, called Space. It has things like dramatics, dance performance etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

A little expensive, the total fee for us is around 1, 20, 000. It increases by about 5% annually as a measure to further develop the college. But the fees paid is definitely worth the money over here as the college has a good reputation and time flies here.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships given by the government but I have no detailed idea on it as I did not apply for scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

There gender ratio is about 2:1, which is very decent compared to other engineering colleges. The juniors share a healthy interactive relationship with seniors generally. There are people from multiple backgrounds and hence you get to learn about various aspects of life.

Hostel Facilities

3

I have not an idea about hostels as I have my own house here. However, there are various students who rent houses near the college, and the rent comes to about 5k-10k per student depending on the facilities and the location, services etc.

Exam Structure

The labs are almost daily, but it does not get very hectic. We are given about 3 weeks preparatory leave before exams begin. The exams are conducted by the Mumbai University and the passing rate is not very good, and depends on your own luck too.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty upto now has been pretty decent. They try explaining things the best they can, and are successful at times. But some teachers are not very good, and have an ego problem. All in all, pretty decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
