Remarks

The fillip to creativity and novelty puts the college in the privileged league. This has ensured the students to win numerous accolades in various hackathons and events on the national and international level. Located at a pime location, it provides excellent connectivity through Metro. The infrastructure is appreciable. The classrooms and labs are air conditioned and employed with motion sensors and surveillance cameras. Other facilities concerning canteens, sports, etc. are impeccable. The societies in the college are very active. In addition, the college follows a rigorous curriculum with a due focus on punctuality, ethical values and discipline, thus transforming the students into industry ready professionals.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is a bit outdated because it follows the university norms (that cater to a large number of colleges). The industrial exposure through internships and visits was enriching. The focus on academics is very strong. One is exposed to various assignments, case studies and presentations which eventually shape your character and personality. The teaching pedagogy is excellent. The faculties are affable and helpful. One can go to any faculty for any query or emotional support without any hesitation.

Internships Opportunities

One can either do the training in the college or search for an internship otherwise. I had done my internship with a consultancy firm in the advisory department.

Placement Experience

4.5

Various companies like Amazon, Evalueserve, TCS, Ultron, ZS, EY visit the campus. The profile offered was that of a software or system engineer. The number of students placed in these companies vary. The mass recruiters like TCS and Ultron hire 60+ students while the others take around 10-15. The placement department is very supportive. The process includes multiple rounds like Aptitude, Coding, GD and interviews, varying from company to company. The startup culture is promoted in the college through an incubation centre. A successful startup as of now is Garniche by Yash Batra. Thr alumni network is good and helpful for any future opportunities and guidance.

College Events

4.5

There are multiple active societies in the college like GDG, Enactus, ACM, ISTE, etc. They conduct technical and cultural events from time to time. Our fests (named BVEST) witness massive participation and fervour (close to 500 people). In particular, we are known to conduct hackathons!

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any facility. But, I believe that under EWS quota or similar financial constraints, the entire fee is reimbursed. The scheme has to be availed in the first year. Also, various scholarships are available for less privileged sections as well.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus size is small (i.e. 5 acres). That might make the college look a bit over-crowded. However, the facilities are exceptionally good. The classrooms, labs amd corridors are air conditioned and employed with motion sensors and surveillance cameras for security. The library has a capacity of of 120 students and provides e-books as well. The lab equipments are abreast with the latest technologies. The wifi facility can be availed at a meagre price and is decent enough for daily use.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility is only available to the girl students. The hostels are well equipped and air conditioned. They are also renovated as per need. The security provided is excellent. The average rental per student is close to 2k per month and rooms are available on a shared basis.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
