It is a Catholic Institute and I love the discipline in such institutions. It was really close to my house. Lots of my friends were also studying here and the placement here is average. The college has very kind and nice teachers and immense opportunities for growth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very theoretical but Interesting. There were 3-4 Industrial Visits, the faculties are mostly PhDs and worked in industries. Ruby Phumale, she was one of the best teachers to teach me. Also Asuntha Ma'am, Bose Sir and Blesson Sir were who taught us very nicely and supported us at every level of graduation.
Internships Opportunities
Clicks Technologies, Business Executive, 10K/Month, the process is simple you apply to the head of the company as it is a startup and not a big company. And You give an interview if you get selected you join the startups and if not then find next.
Placement Experience
Companies like TCS, Emphasis, ICICI bank, northern trust HCL, Mahindra come for placements. The placement department is helpful, but most of the profile offered are sales, Customer Service, Back Office and management, And many other related to IT. And rest is average I don't know much about this.
College Events
The college has many activities during the academic year, starting from Impulse which is an inter-college fest that includes from Tech competition to cultural to art and everything in between. This is a 2-day event. Colleges from allover Pune participate. Then Chrysalis which is an Intra-college fest to develop a healthy environment among the students and to bring up new talent for college. This also has sports to cultural to art to everything in between. This is a 5-day event. Entire college is divided in 4 teams and the compete so everyone in the college participate. Then Chispa the Mega event for which every student in college waits to participate, this event happens every alternate year! Let's say if it was held in 2017 and then the next event will be held in 2019. This is a purely cultural event and around more 250 students are involved including teachers and staff. And the small event in between.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is good. Basketball Court A small groud Community hall A small Gym which is not used by students, library size for 50 - 70 students at a time. A very nice canteen set up! All the necessary equipment for the lab are available. A Smart room for learning is available. No wifi for students.
