I studied my ug also in amrita Kerala campus which proved to be super so it made me continue the journey with amrita also here I am doing MS also along with my MBA which is in system analytics from university of Buffalo

Course Curriculum Overview

They way they have planned is superb because at a time you are doing two pgs faculties like DrAngan sengupta who take subjects like statistics which is full of calculations maths in a very friendly way which make you love the subject but ya little more exposure for the students are needed

Yaa i am currently doing my internship in a startup named Tradions which is basically a stock market advisory i am working as an research analyst and my stipends depends upon the accuracy of predictiond

I am first year student I have not took participate in placements till now however for my seniors most of them with finance background are placed in deloite, federal bank etc coming to marketing there are lot of opportunity such as adani group icici bank etc while in analytics the cat is one of the recruiter but it is little hardworking to get placed in their company

College Events

My ug life was superb maybe because pressure was less in Amritapuri campus of amrita you will daily have some or other event which actually opens up I improved a lot because of that after coming to Bengaluru it is still maintained but not to the level of Kerala campus ya but we all are in the work to conduct the first online techno management fest aykya 2020

Fees and Financial Aid

Yaa from this year they are giving scholarship to students who have high marks in cat and mat exams that is almost 70% of fees ya I think that will be great support for students who are really passionate about this course

Campus Life

Amrita is ranked 4 th university in India according to the latest ranking I always feel that rank is also maintained in their infrastructure wether it is Kerala campus or Bengaluru campus they will provide everything that is required by a student to Achieve his / her goals

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is really good with good air circulation which I consider the most important thing along with vegetarian food for those who love non veg it will be little difficult as all amrita hostels are vegetarian

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

My life in Amrita as an Undergraduate

I applied to PESU in bengaluru, i wanted CSE but got into ECE so i chose AI and DS in Amrita over ECE in PESU. Also fees was lesser in Amrita compared to PESU. I wanted to apply for MIT, bangalore but since the college was very far and the fees was huge i diidnt apply, plus i already got into amrita by then. And since i am from bangalore and didnt want to leave the place i didnt try for colleges outside of bangalore. The admission process for my college is either through the entrance exam conducted by them which is AEEE or through JEE. I got in through JEE since it was better than my AEEE score. with a rank below 3k students might get into slab 1 for any course if they are from bangalore due to local quota....Read More
