College is good as of my experience if you are like to learn and spend more time on study rather than fun then you will like the college. This college time table is very strict unlike the other college. Some time you will feel like school bcoz of its very busy time table of continuous classes. The class time is regular 8 AM to 5 PM everyday except sunday. There is 1 short break and 1 long break in between.

I appeared OJEE entrance exam and got good rankand joined master of computer application(MCA). Its a 3 year computer software engineering course having the mostly used programming languages in the IT industries.

The course is under BPUT course curriculum. The course includes most used programming languages to operating system, data structure, Management information system etc. The programming languages includes C, C++, Java/J2EE, HTML, JS, CSS, Perl, Shell Script. The course includes theary as well as Practical classes.

It was good there is a scholar stipend they offers who scores 90+ percentage in the semister exam. Except this no other stipend except the govt stipend for ST/SC students. The study environment is very good in the college.

Placement and Job opportunity is very good. If the student is having 60+ percentage in whole career than this is the college for him/her. If career 60+ percent is there than its 80% chance that the student will get a job at the end. TCS, Infosys, wipro, Tech mahindra these four companies comes every year.

There are many events every year, Zygon annual function 3 days tech Fest 3 days, sports day 3 Days the above events are common every year and celebrated very interestingly for 3 consecutive days every year.

Fees are expensive yearly course fees more than 1 lac now for every stream or branch when I studied I paid 60,000 for each year for MCA course whatever the course fees, the study quality is good.

Yes whoever will score 90+ percent in semister exam they gets Rs 1000 monthly as a college management scholarship.

In case of extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc, Silicon college is very good compare to other colleges there are many events organised, and there are lot of students participates in such events.

Hostel rooms are good but the mess food are not that much good they follows the same type menu so it irritates day by day.

Every year they organises alumini meet at bhubaneswar all previous students who got settled in Big Big MNC they used to help their fellow juniors through the Alumini Network or By the approach of college management.

Exams are good, conducted in the way exam conducted no one can cheat. Very strict and lot of invigilators are appointed in the exam halls.

Very good faculties are there in this college compare to other engineering colleges available at Bhubaneswar. Most of the faculties are highly educated like M.Tech and above except the Lab assistants. Very few faculties are there, who are qualified but their teaching experience is not that much good.
