Life at Silicon University

The course curriculum is very updated. And now the college is upgraded to university, so more relevant courses are added. The curriculum is prepared for placement preparation mainly. No improvement is needed as such.

Many companies visit the campus in third and fourth year to provide internship opportunities and that is known as practice school. Companies like spikewell, nirmalya visit the campus quite often majorly students choose web development projects.

Every year I paid ?2,25,000 as tution fee. The fees was same for all srudents. No scholarship were offered by college. Students may opt for government scholarship. The govt scholarship should be applied online and college authority will approve it.

The campus life is best in Silicon. Almost every months there used to be some type of small events. And annual tech fest also happens evey year. The campus is very disciplined. And we can find a lot of greenery in full campus.

Silicon is academically very strong and strict in comparison to other colleges. And most importantly the fees was nominal. I applied for kiit but the fee was very high and professors are not well experienced also.

For every 30 students there is a faculty. So the faculty-to-student ratio is very good. Faculties are very helpful and friendly. Almost all faculties are good in their own way so no complain against any one. There are total 8 semesters and 8 mid-semesters.

There are some companies who conduct group discussions or else companies direct take interview. In group discussions generally current topics are asked. First there used to be a writter coding round, then group discussion and then final interview.

Night life is very lively in the college campus. The hostel gates used to be open till 10pm. There are many places to sit and gossip in the campus. There are 2 separate gyms for boys and girls. There is cafeteria inside the campus where some delicious items are there in the menu.
