Management can definitely be improved as it is a new college so not that good uptil now.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MBBS course is for 4 and half years with one year of compulsory rotating internship. There are a whole lot of studies to do for 19 subjects we have in MBBS . But as far as placement is concerned there is no sort of campus selection in MBBS we either have to apply for MD exam or complete the rural bond.
Placement Experience
I have not availed an internship yet. But the internships are quite helpful in our clinical studies and they provide us with stipend also.
College Events
All cultural events and festivals are celebrated and also the annual sports and cultural fest . There is an auditorium under construction for these purposes and there is a ground where we have all the events and huge lecture hall for the events till the auditorium gets constucted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is quite feasible as MBBS is itself quite expensive but our college is economically feasible. At the timei got admission it was more feasible as they charged around 50000 as tution fee which is quite feasible for an MBBS course. But now it has been increased to 400000 per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i haven't opted for any loan for this course but ofcourse u can do it there are also many scholarships available for it.
Campus Life
Campus is not so good . It's a small campus but there is a well maintained gender ratio with almost equal males and females. There are good opportunities for indoor and outdoor sports but lack of proper basketball courts is a disadvantage. The labs are quite well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
Yes hostels are quite good as it is a new college so the furnitures are all good that are provided in the hostels. But as of now we are running short of rooms at the hostels with the new batch coming up . So there is an additional building for the hostel under construction.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are always helpful in an MBBS curriculum as they are always there to ark ur books and help u out in the wards as for practicals and clinical studies.
Admission
I'm passionate to become a doctor so I opted this course. The admission is through all india exam Neet which is usually held in the month of May. The admission procedures for every state vary and as for our state it is through the uk neet site of University HNBUMU. After registration in this site u become eligible for counseling and the seats are alloted as per the merit list.
Faculty
Faculty of our college is quite good and the teachers are well experienced too! There are assistant professors and atleast 3 to 4 profferssors for each subject and as far as practical studies are concerned we have tutors for them who are quite experienced and dedicated to teach us.
