Entrance Preview
I got selected by maharashtra CET. Also I have given Management Aptitude Test (MAT) and scored 99.06 percentile in February 2008 MAT, score of which has been considered for admission. Apart I have been interviewed by a panel into North Maharashtra University under Mah CET admission process. I have chosen to pursue MBA Finance because I was having interest in same field.
Course Curriculum Overview
Sinhgad college of engineering has been affiliated with university of pune and course curriculum was the same of university it was helpful to understand different aspects of field.
Internships Opportunities
Internship program was good and helpful to get practical knowledge i have been offered RS. 1000 and reimbursed for local conveyances. Also I got rewards for outperform certain tasks.
Placement Experience
Almost all classmates has been placed and average package offered was around 5 lakh per annum.list of companies in which they have been placed, Norfolk 2.9 LPA, Airtel 5 LPA, NJ India invest PVT ltd 2.4 LPA, HDFC bank, LPA, Axis Bank 3 LPA, E Ckerx 2 LPA, Maersk 3 LPA, DELLOITE 5 LPA, Sierce Co sourcing 3 LPA, Tata comp 4 LPA, Emerson research 4 LPA, L& T info 4 LPA.
College Events
Excelsior- engineering and management games, karandak- cultural festival, state level seminars on information technology and management, state level seminar on international business.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was feasible not expensive 134000 for two year, first year- 45000, second year- 45000, development fee- 44000, exm fee- 2000 reasonable and feasible with comparison to peer colleges of similar rating.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides scholarship for ST SC Obc and different catagory people.
Campus Life
Campus is maintaining ratio of male and female genders also every year it gives freshers party and fairwell parties to new and old students. Also celebrate different cultural days- traditional, kutta, mismatch. It provides lots of opportunity to all students to come on a platform to show their strengths.
Hostel Facilities
I was not staying in college hostel but the locality of hostel was impressive also rental was reasonable with mess charges rs. 45000.
Alumni/Alumna
Ours was first batch so there was no alumni we are alumni and every year alumni meet is held every year in may june.
Exam Structure
Semester was there every six months it was quite interesting and enjoyable class tests happened every week so as to cop up with course and be prepared for exams.
Faculty
Faculty was good but due to new hiring and their training it was like we all learning same thing together although it helped us to learn on our own and find new ways.
