Remarks

One of the best college for the rank I secured. That is for rank holders between 9900 to 18000 can opt for this college without any hesitation. Infrastructure is good. Faculties are awesome. Decent environment. No ragging. Job opportunities are average.

Course Curriculum Overview

Updated and well balanced syllabus. Faculties are awesome. CSE BSH and AEIE faculties are the best. Professors are helpful. Overall everything is well organized and balanced. Syllabus is competed on time. Professors are always available for doubt clearing sessions.

Placement Experience

Computer Science department has a good placement facility. Even big MNC's visit our campus to recruit cse and IT students. Other streams have an average placement record of 60%. One of our seniors named Chandrakant Prasad has his own starup company named besmater which trains students for placement and to crack technical interviews.

College Events

Every year Freshers welcome is done. Technical Fest play a major role(twice every year). Cultural programs are held regularly. Moreover Tech quizzes, essay writing competition, drawing competition, coding challenges and many more.

Campus Life

Free Wi-Fi. Labs are huge with all types of equipments. Library is a collection of every book you need. A 6 acre campus with a healthy environment. A football ground and a basketball court. Moreover a good canteen with variety of food item.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
