Remarks

Since I was interested in research, I opted B.Sc to start my research carrier; my college had excellent reviews about its structure. Our college provides a wide range of opportunities to grow in the research field.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is good still today for students who like research but the syllabus is a bit old and not updated. Faculties as usual like any other college we had both good and very few bad teachers. I can't mention the names of any teacher but some of our teachers are very good in terms of reaching topic to us and their experience helps us to know more of practical stuff.

College Events

4.5

Speaking of fests, activities and other events our college celebrate majority of them with no doubt in the best way possible. We are even allowed to participate in events of other colleges and greatly supported by college towards Co-curricular activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Speaking of scholarships we are majorly informed about scholarships but the process sometimes is horrible as it consumes a lot of time on the process to be followed. But in the end, we get our deserved scholarship anyway that's good.

Campus Life

4.5

Our Campus is small but we have good sports facilities, very well maintained library and though lab equipment is a bit old fashioned are good for us to learn from scratch. Apart from that, I think the maintenance of Canteen is required as I have seen its not that good in my opinion.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
