My college

Overall the college management is doing a good job on their but somehow they fail us on the hostel mess and the college canteens which closes at 5 to 6 pm.

The whole curriculum & the exam structure is satisfying like how they carry out each and every class with the scheduled exams plus the practical labs. The college tries hard to provide the industry based knowledge but they rarely succeed in that, they are fine with the theoretical knowledge and practical somehow but not the industrial. It is somehow enough to secure the placement on campus if you are performing well. There was an industrial visit but not organised by the institution, they just asked us to visit some industry, get permission from the college for that and then submit the report on it.

The placements, the overall placements are fine in our institution like they invite MNC's and the startups as well which is a good initiative for all of us, the college, the startup and the students. The Companies which visited my institution are Tcs, Tech Mahindra, Jaro Solutions, Amazon etc

We have, The biggest event organised by our college is Annual Cultural Fest. And then they have many small events like New year event, Lohri event, Republic day event, Technical fest, which the second largest event of our college, Independence day event, Diwali Mela, etc etc

It is expensive for B. Tech in computer science (cloud computing). This amount of 1.95 lacs is more than enough for the course which I've opted and according to the facilities they are providing us. The hostel fee structure is also expensive, we have to pay 1.6 lacs per years for an AC sharing room.

I have not opted any scholarships or the educational loan. No college does not offer any scholarships to the students it is completely based on your 12th standard results.

The gender ratio in our is fine, can say it's good enough. On every 10 boys, there are 9 girls, so the ratio is good enough. There are no student dorm parties in our college but yeah there are few workshops they conduct. The good thing about our college is no inequality on basis of gender, race, colour or economic.

Yes, I have opted for the hostel. And the facilities they probably us according to the fee they charge is not acceptable. Their facilities are fine but they charge us more than enough for that which is 1.6 lacs for 2 bed AC hostel room for a year.

It's hard to contact the alumni's but somehow few students succeed which is very helpful, they share their experiences about the college, placements and the working experience.

I got the admission in college through an entrance exam in which I had to clear certain criteria of marks which the college itself decides. I opted for this course because I see my future in that and I always wanted to be an Engineer. The college releases the form online/offline for the entrance exam but the institution has its own criteria for grades/percentage of your 10th, 12th standard if they all are satisfied then you can apply for it. After the application, there will a call for the entrance exam and if you cleared that also then there will be a call for your counselling for the admission and that is the final step.

Faculty members are good and even more understanding. We have 8 tentative lectures of 50 minutes each which is enough for a particular subject. The faculty members are experienced but that's not enough to deliver the lectures, you need more information about the topic on which you are delivering lectures and they do it very beautifully. Lectures somehow hold the relevance with the industries but that is not enough to work on it.
