Course Curriculum Overview

Here the course is of 4 years with 48 subjects. There are 2 exams in a year which is termed as semester exam. Total 8 semesters exams are to have appeared. Then in a year all subjects to be covered for the exam by lecturers. Students have to attend all classes.

Placement Experience

Yes, there are many companies that come to our college for campus placement every year. A lot of students are also taking part in the drive and placed in good companies. Our college also taking a vital role in giving training to students for appearing in the interview of placement.

College Events

1st chapter is a technical event. Also, there are other festivals that are celebrated in our college. There are a lot of cultural programmes are happened on the college side. All students are taking part in those events. Every year all students participated.

There is a standard fee structure for all students who are taking admission in our college and it's revised every year. All payments are done through the drafts from the bank. There is some transparency in fee breakdown like poor students can pay fees in instalment.

Yes, there are a lot of opportunities for the scholarship for poor students. Approximately 1lakh of the scholarship is given.

Campus Life

The gender ratio in our college is 2:3. All sports are there in our college society. There are a lot of parties and workshops organized every year for us. All students are encouraged to participate in these events. There are fewer politics and ethnicity in our college.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have opted for the hostel. Our hostel facility is good with rooms and hygienic food. All facilities are there in the hostel. Rents are good for students with accommodation fees which is adjustable for students.

All our senior students are very helpful. All alumni are also helpful. Our network is very big and strong.

After the entrance exam qualified, you have to apply for the admission and then on a date, you can go and proceed for the admission. On basis of coming fast serve fast, you can take admission in this college. You can see the review and ask some of the friends about this and take admission.

There are separate lecturer for each subject and all faculties are well experienced by the renowned organization. They are very dedicated and helpful in nature. They teach us very good manner and train us for campus placement. They are helping with a good career building.

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
