A journey worth sharing

College is doing well but I personally think some things are need to be changed. like college should provide more number of Industrial excursions to students, College should also focus on extracurricular activities so that students are able to develop certain skills and lastly, I think the fees structure can also be improvised. because I think fees is a bit on higher side.

They have a vast curriculum .The curriculum is made such that it covers all the subjects and courses from a Business point of view like Taxation, DBMS, Principles of Management, Business law etc. Doing Summer Internship program is compulsory and after that students make s research report on that. The only thing that is lacking in this college is limited number Industry visits are there ie 1 or 2 in a year

The placemens and Internship opportunities are quite average. Companies like Times of India come for the summer Internship Program and companies like Amazon, Genpact, Concentrix come for the placements . average Placement package is 2-3 L per anum . Mostly the BPO's come for the placement. There are different rounds to clear the Interview process like GD, Versant round etc.

The most important festival in our college was "Genesis" . It's a cultural fest where students showcase there talent and there are gaming stalls, eating stalls etc. The other important fest for the people who love photography is "chhayankan" . In this fest students showcase their photography talent and win money and non-monetary rewards.

The fee structure is little bit on a higher side as compared to the du colleges and the courses and curriculum being offered. This college doesn't provide any free transparency in the fee breakdown. There are only 2-3 categories of the fee breakdown. And students also pay additional fees to secure their admission in the college.

I haven't opted for any Scholarship or education loan for this course.But yes, there is some criteria for the Scholarships as well.

Campus life is really good, The college is well equipted with 2 computer labs. Having 40-50 computers in each lab. The college Library is located at a different building, having 3-4 floors. College crowd is really good. But, College does not support extracurricular activities as such. Their emphasis is more towards quality education. Every year we have events like sports meet, entrepreneurial workshops for MBA's etc.

No, I haven't opted for the hostel facility as such. But, the only thing I know is the hostel facility is only for boys and not for girls. The hostel facility is in the campus itself. Girls have to go for PG for their Accommodation.

There is no interaction between the students and alumni of college. Only one meeting takes place every year and that too with the faculty of the institute.

BBA is a professional degree course. Most of the DU colleges don't offer this type of course and Maharaja Agrasen is the top college when it comes to this course. To get admission in this institute, you have give GGSIPIU entrance exam based on the course you want to do. The entrance exam have many sections like GK, English, Mathematics, logic etc. After giving the exam, you receive a rank and on the basis of that rank, you are alloted a college . You can also apprear for 2nd as well so that you can get admission on the college of your choice. The admission process is basically on the rank, the better the rank, the more chances of you getting into a good college.

The lectures are divided into full credit or half credit course . practical subjects are there in half credit course and all the other subjects come under full credit course. For the half credit course, there are only 2 classes per week. And full credit course are taught 3 days or 4 days in a week ( one lecture per day) So the total number of classes per course is 3* 3.5 Months. The faculties are very supportive .Most of them have completed their P.H.D .They have a good knowledge about their subject. They quote examples in the class so that the learning becomes much easier.
