Remarks
All in all it is a very good college in terms of academics but if you want to enjoy your college life this is not the place for it as they are very strict and the location of the college is also not good enough
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, the course and curriculum are very informative and are given a light of the real world scenarios so that adds a little practical knowldege too the syllabus is very in-depth so that also gives us a detailed understanding of the topics.due to all these factors we know what is going to be expected of us in our professional corporate lives.we had one industrial visit this year to milk factory i dont think that was helpful for us because it is not related to our course,we have a lot of extra curricular activities and fests that really help us in how to tackle real life corporate situations
Placement Experience
The placements are supposedly really good as i have heard people talk about it a lot especially my seniors. All my teachers also assure us that most of us will be given good placements if we work hard companies like ey and deloitte are the most common i dont have other info on this as im still a first year student
College Events
There are a lot of events in our college, we have educational competitive fests and dance fests where students from all over the country participate there is always a very big attendance in these events particularly from our own students. Although these fests are good i think they could be even more competitive and bigger
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for my program is 90000inr mode of payments are online or throuh cards and demand drafts no additional fee was charged to secure admission yes transparency is provided on the fee breakdown although i feel the fees is a little bit expensive
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the scholarship opportunities are provided the eligibility was based on merit or the incom group and attendance to be more than 85% the avearge sum of scholarship provided was around 10000
Campus Life
Gender ratios -i think the ratio would be 55 -45 55 being male as far as bias based on any of the above criteria there isnt any question about it but there are a lot of people belonging to a particular community as it is the same community the management belongs to roughly 75% of all the students would belong to the same community
Hostel Facilities
No i have not opted for the hostel facility because my home is nearby but i have heard fellow students tell me that the hostels are very strict and the average fees is around 30000inr a year. The hostel rooms are not so tidy and spacious as well
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors do not interact that much with the juniors but whatever help we need they make sure they provide
Admission
B.com acca is not so known to people but it is very good for your career as well as the high pay guarantee that it gives if you complete it so that was appealing to me. I heard that kristu jayanti is a very good college in terms of academics and placements in terms of campus selections so that was a huge factor in me choosing this college admission procedure first we are supposed to fill out an online application form if we are selected for the primary interview our names are published on the college website through lists and we are given a specific date and time for the interview and if we get through the interview round we are given the dates for fee payment and other formalities
Faculty
For my course there is one faculty member for each subject so we have 7 subjects the faculty members are mostly middle aged.their age on an average would be around 40-45.ALL The teaching staff are really well qualified and educated. Most of them are new to this college they are excellent in their teaching methods, they are patient and very attentive to our feedback.they seem to have complete knowledge on the subject
