Bad college with no placement facility. The college is very bad.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was good as it followed west Bengal university of technology. Exam structure was we had 8 semesters and in each semester we had internals of each paper along with projects and viva. We also had lots of practicals in each semester.
Placement Experience
The placement was very bad as very few companies were called for the placement. In the placement also very few students were placed.
College Events
We had one fresher party and one Annual fest. The annual fest comprised of the technical fest which had technical games and the other one was cultural fest. In the technical fest, the games which were played were counter strike, Need for speed, Robotics and the winners were awarded prizes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was quite expensive as it was 40000 per semester and also we had to pay another 800 per exam as exam fee. apart from that we also had to pay the hostel fee. The mode of payment was a cheque, draft, and net banking. The college does not provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not apply for any education loan. The scholarship to be availed would need an entrance exam and background verification was done.
Campus Life
the gender ratio of the college is quite balanced as both the genders equally mixed. We had all the labs of different subjects which helped us. We also had our own Library where we could go and pick up our subject wise books which helped us a lot.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were very helpful. They also supported us in many ways such as in practicals and theory papers.
Admission
Entrance Exam. Close to my hometown and it was in a nice location and the college had just started its operations with the techno group. The college had a good faculty team an also good infrastructure. About the admission had to give an entrance exam and then the registration had to be done.
Faculty
Faculty of the college had a mixture of good and bad teachers. Some were very helpful and some did not even hear you help you out. Some of the faculty members age was around 40 and some even had the retiring age of 55+. they were well versed with their subjects.
