Remarks

It was a good college in terms of curricular and extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It was good at the point of education but campus placement was missing during the year. Though we had come with good marks didn't get an opportunity to work for a company. The curriculum at that I choose was relevant but since I had chosen computers the need of the hour is different.

Placement Experience

1

At the time when we were learning, we never had campus recruitment. So more in this, we can't mention.

College Events

3

We had a lot of events like the variety of competition, sports day and college day. It was a great pleasure and enthusiasm to participate in this competition which always have us the spirit to work in a team and also it made us happy when we used to win these competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At that time it was around 25000 thousand. There was no break down in fee given. At the time if admission fee was taken for course and admission. The payment mode was only through cash now though we had been the system of online there was no system as such.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for the scholarship or education loan. There was no such necessity as the fee was affordable.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus was very good as we had a big ground and also different building for each department. There was a beautiful centre stage for all our cultural activities. We had well-equipped classrooms. Even the physics, chemistry, Biology and computer lab were well equipped and systematically planned for all activities.

Hostel Facilities

1

No, I have never opted for the hostel facility as I used to travel from home. This was because I chose a college near my house. In our college, we didn't have hostel facilities at that time. Everyone was a day scholar.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were very good. We never had the problem if ragging system. They were very friendly and cooperative. The college environment was very interactive and pleasant. They were no problems faced by anyone with regard to any harassment by seniors. The best college I ever visited was my college.

Admission

I choose it because it was the best college in, my neighbourhood. It was a distance I had to travel within 5 km. I also choose this college as I wanted the computer science department. The admission process was a small interview conducted by the principal.

Faculty

3

They were experienced lectures and they used to guide us and help us to perform better. Especially in the computer science department, they have experienced faculty who used to correct and guide us for better learning. Faculty gave us clarity in each and every path of learning.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
