All true facts about college.

I think not at the last moment but college should start from the second year end itself for placement preparation to avoid last moment hassle.And important topics from the syllabus should be covered first instead of giving it as self study.

Basically we have a semester of six months.In all subjects we have 6 units.after completion of one unit we are given assignment on it or some task related to it. We have labs for practical knowledge.Herein we are guided by expert professors and then we do the experiment in group and verify the results of that experiment from faculty.For the subject like social study we are given some practical based assignment to really do social help by like creating awareness among people about Environment conservation etc.Our department also takes us to industry to gain practical knowledge.As a electrical student we have also been taken to Khaparkheda power plant and in the fourth year there is also a visit to chandrapur power plant.

The placement of RCOEM is booming day by day.Many core companies along with IT come every year to recruit tonns of students.Companies like ACCENTURE,TCS,CAPEGEMINI,SHAPPORJI PALLONJI, TECH MAHINDRA come every year which allow electrical student.They take aptitude exam as the first round and then GD and PI.From Cs,IT,EC mostly 100% people gets placed and from EE,ME,CE 75-80% gets placed every year.After the 6 seem exam college arranges special lectures for placement preparation.The T&p committee encourages students to maximum participate in this in summer.

At the start of first year a welcome event named as AARUNI is organized for first year new students by the students representative council (SRC) of college.It is a grand event along with various performances followed by food.In the even semester college organises annual gathering of 4 days where various competition related to art etc takes place and many big celebrities like zaeden,the yellow diary band is called.For it budget of this year was 15lakhs.so it is basically a grand event where there is one frliciation ceremony function where meritorious students are awarded.In the odd semester TECHNOVISION takes place where various competition related to robotics and technical takes place.Students from various colleges takes part in it.

For Engineering the fees of Rcoem open category is 1lakhs 40k respectively.As I am under tfws scheme my fees is 20k per year.College gives us option to pay it online in one attempt.No installment facility is available in Rcoem.After the one time fees no other money we have to pay in the whole year except library fine charges.For the fees paid a receipt is generated by college which we get in online mode itself.

College didn't offer any scholarship to students.Only in felicitation program meritorious students are awarded with 10k as a schlorship.

A life in Rcoem is best in all respect.There is not only study based education but students develop as a whole right from managing a event to handling people.There are more boys in our campus but at every event there is barricades placed between both so that no one should feel insecure.There are many workshops organised along with service units for students like NSS,Rotaract.For students with special interest there is also clubs like Dance,Music,Robotics,technical.For the business minded students there is TBI foundation which promotes ideas of students and if it is very interesting college funds the students As well.There is no type of discrimination of students on any basis.All are treated equally.

No I live in Nagpur along with my family so for me the college is 10km from my home.I require 20mins to reach to college.But hostel seats in RCOEM is also on the basis of merit.There is facility of two in one room or three in one.The rooms are small.There is warden for both girls and boys hostel and in time is also there for girls.if not found warden call their parents.so security is best in RCOEM campus with CCTV everywhere.

There is no much interaction with them but college tries to develop it by organizing seminars or webinars to guide the students to enjoy experience of alumni I.

I had given Mh-cet exam in 2017 and I have got 142 marks in it.Then I filled the DTE admission form which is needed to get admission from mhtcet score.In this form We can fill the colleges of our preferences and according to merit list we are allowed the best.There are 3 rounds in this process.I got RCOEM EE in the first round itself that too tfws I.e under tuition fees waiver scheme.so I decided to freeze my choice and not.to go for round 2.After all rounds are over we have given a date of admission in the college along with the required documents.

There are 10+ expert PhD faculties in Rcoem who had a teaching experience of 15+years.Along with it there are 8+new assistant professors who guide the student in every aspect.Many faculties run their project under MSME scheme also which then offers the internship for final year student also.There are 20 lecturers in our department with all mtech.Many of them are pH.d also.It is not like that the lecturer teach with full clarity but if student is unable to understand then they personally help students in it,as many of them are from industry background they try to relate theory with all practical knowledge.
