Remarks
I have chosen this college because there were very few college’s in and around Mumbai city which offers BE in Electrical. Despite scoring above 85% in my diploma final year, i didn’t get admission in any other college. Think i love most about this college is the campus, as it is situated little far from city, it really gives a nice felling and conducive atmosphere for studying
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is designed by Mumbai University and not by college itself. Not all but some of faculties are nice and helpful, but they lag in experience. That’s why the student can’t depend wholly on faculties, he /she will be required to learn themselves sometimes. Not sure about industrial exposure as i am just in my second year.
College Events
It host 2 major festivals in academic year , except that there are also many other state level quiz’s, hacking competition which attracts many students from other colleges. In college festival there are many many kind of activities in which a student can participate.
Fees and Financial Aid
About scholarships and loans one should not get tensed as they are really very very helpful in that aspects, especially if you belong from Muslim minority , as it is a Muslim minority college. Minority, EBC and many other scholarships are provided by Maharashtra government , in which college guides you nicely in cooperative manner
Campus Life
Infrastructure is real awesome in all aspects . Books which are required and recommend by MU in curriculum are available in library. WiFi is also available in campus but it works only in certain points. Labs have all equipment/ machines required for the course. And all are in good condition.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is not available in the campus. But if someone wish to stay nearby the college, there are paid apartments in nearby areas, in which 5-7 people stays in a group. College itself has a land for hostel, but i am not sure if they will build one in next 1-2 years.
