SAKSHI BINDAL's Review On Dyal Singh College - [DSC], New Delhi

According to my opinion our college is OK in management but not so good in helding the class time table and lacking in management to the classes or even in some events.

There is good curriculum and exam structure. It is relevant, research-driven and fair.There are several society which held another types of events and they provide different types of knowledge about the companies and provide internship. But they are lacking about teaching us that how to involve in different type of activities and how you can be able to find different companies on our own.

According to my opinion they are not so good in providing placement and they provide good opportunities at all. They provide us internships and other events so we can able to explore our knowledge and know more about actually how are able to do a job and how can build our future.

There are many events that our college held. The events are about dance competition, photography, newspaper dress, and so many activities. These events are also allowed for other college students to take participate. They even set the prizes for the winner. Every society can held their events like to invite celebrity in the college and for the safety they have to take permission.

Our fee structure is feasible but not best. As we can see other colleges have different types of fee structure so if we compare we can say Dyal singh college structure is feasible then some colleges but also expensive then some colleges. According to my opinion the fee structure is quite good and feasible.

Our college provide scholarship opportunities to students. If the student is not able to pay the fee according to the college requirements because of some difficulties or any other serious reason like if a student pay his/her fee on his own without the parents then he/she can apply for education loan and top or bright students can get sclolarship.

Dyal singh college is good in extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions. In college there are several societies and held these competitions and activities. Each society has their own specialist like some societies held debate competitions, some held dance competitons etc. So we can say it is quite good in these activities.

Our senior are quite helpful for us. When I was new in the college I don't know even about where are the classes and how to understand time table but thankfully there was such good seniors who helped me in this and I was able to indulge in college.

I got the admission in Dyal singh college on the basis of merit list. I have scored 94.2 % in my 12th class and got the admission in 5th cut off. I clearly not remember the date but its approx about in august. For getting the admission I have to go through its process. Firstly I have to verified my 12th mark sheet and then showed all necessary documents for the admission. They verified my all documents and check they are original or not. They also submit my original documents and they said you can get back after a few days. I have also submit the 4-5 passport size photo and photo state of all my documents. They give me slip to get back my original documents they said only by showing this slip you cang et back your documents. After all the verification and submissions of all documents my admission was done.

The faculty of this college is good but not excellent. I can tell you about my own current teachers like my law teacher was an student in SRCC college and done post graduation. She is quite good in teaching. on the other and our economics teacher do not care at all about how she teach us. We are not able to understand ertopics or method but she doesn't care at all.
