College management is a little too slow to react and especially, this new management is hoping to control students like undergraduate students, but they failed to do so every time.

Earlier they used to follow 8 semester system, but now they're going to use 6 semester system excluding the foundation term. Exam will happen after every 2-2.5 months and the next terms starts the very next day. The first year will be a roller coaster ride, it not only involves your studies, but also involves student driven committees, case study competitions, event management, summer placements and STPs (short term projects). Everything is necessary, but every now and then you will have to trade off between one and the other. It teaches you to manage time efficiently and helps to look your final goal more clearer.

Placement of the college is gradually increasing day by day. Currently Domestic highest is about 25-27 lakhs I guess, while the highest domestic stipend is about 3-3.5 lakhs per two months. The profiles that mainly offered are Sales and Marketing, Equity research, Project Manager, Pitchbook, IB, Operations Manager, Assistant Brand Manager, HR Manager and many more. Average package is about 14 lacks p.a.

The biggest event is Chakravyuh, Olympics of B School. It involves students from other B schools from all over the country. Last year Baichung Bhutia inauguated the event. It is said to be an event of budget with 2-3 crores. Passion: A mix of cultural and bschool competion event. It is the second big event organized by IMT Ghaziabad. It consists Fashion show, Dance Competition, Painting, Gaming, Case study competition, Pitch your business type of competion. Fee is about 17.5 lakhs and as per the average package, I would say the ROI is very good. Apart from this 17.5 lakhs for two years, you don't have to give a single penny unlike any other private college out there. The fees involves books, top class hostel facilities (it's true trust me), 3 meals + 1 snack time (food is descent as compared to vomited like engineering college food), 15000 caution money, free study/research materials from HBR, ET, bloomberg terminal etc.

Through SBI, I opted for SBI Scholar Loan. It doesn't involve any collateral for this college for upto 20 lakhs.

Gender ration is 78:22 (I had the exact figure). Also, campus life is lit and life in there involves cutthroat competion, unlike any other B school because of its huge batch size. People from all over the country comes there to study and people from foreign also comes there to study through foreign exchange program, like we go there.

Yes, and you should too because hostel life is awesome and if you don't stay in hostel, the whole purpose of doing full time MBA goes in vain. In second year, you can get some private room, but in first year, it's strictly twin sharing rooms. Quality is top notch. ACs are there in each room. 24x7 hot water facility in winters.

The biggest benefit of IMT Ghaziabad is its huge alumni network of about 14000 alums and yes, most of them are very helpful. Senior students will help but it all depends upon asking them for the help. Also, it depends asking the right question to the right people. No ragging is there at all, if you are concerned even in the least.

To get Admission in IMT Ghaziabad, one has to give CAT Entrance exam and at least get 93 percentile. The admission process of IMT Ghaziabad is one of the best among other colleges' admission process (colleges in the same league). I can give you a better picture from both sides of the table because I was the coordinator of the Admissions Committee, IMT Ghaziabad. The IMT Ghaziabad starts admission process earlier than any other college. It normally starts in the month of Feb and lasts till March. It involves GE-WAT-PI. In Group Exercise, they mostly look towards your team management and leadership skills. If you're cutting one another and listening skills is minimal, then you're not gonna clear IMT Ghaziabad at all. In PI they generally look towards your problem approaching skills rather than problem solving skills, which is generally looked by all the companies out there. There are severall percentages assigned to every section of your life, such as work ex, 10th,12th percentages, male/female diversity and many more. This you can look on their official website.

The faculty is descent as compared to big IIMs and other big colleges, but its more competitive if you say in comparison to colleges excluding those. College also conducts various guest lectures by people coming from dream companies such as Maruti, Google, Cavin Kare etc.
