Yes this subject is very good for research as well as for industry exposure. College location and city makes this one of the best campus.

Placement Experience

National Institute of Technology Jalandhar has good history of placements in the Industries like IOC, RIL, Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc. Every students irrespective of branches used to get a chance to get placed which is one of the best aspect of college.

College Events

TechNiti which is a technical fest invites lots of participants from north region specifically. Utkansh is a cultural fest which is being organized every year and includes lots of talent from all over India. Apart from these two fests National Institute of Technology Jalandhar also organises several departmental fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for National Institute of Technology Jalandhar is not much expensive. This is completely feasible for the middle class. For lower class education loan facility can be availed through many banks though getting your loan approved is bit tough and can take time.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had availed an education loan through Punjab national Bank from my village branch which are repaid within my first year of job. I also received loan subsidy from government.

Campus Life

Campus is situated on NH 1 with very nice infrastructure both for sports and education. Gender ratio used to be good barring mechanical engineering branch. Lab facility are also good. National Institute of technology Jalandhar has several departmental labs which are specific for student development.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I used to live in hostel no 2 in first year and then in hostel 7 for next 3 years. Rooms and services are very good. Now they have mega boys and girls hostel which are offering single sharing accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

College alumni association is not very strong. This is still under developing phase and college is taking care of this.

Admission

I always liked the chemistry and opted chemical engineering for the same. Institution has very good history of research and placements. I joined this through AIEEE in Sep 2009.

National Institute of Technology Jalandhar has highly qualified faculties who are very much supportive and research oriented. They help the students to get best out of their syllabus and as well their previous experiences. They personally take care of every student present in campus.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
