There is lack of staff and instruments facilities in my university.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, everything is relevant in the question paper which was studies into the class. But this does not provide us with industry specific knowledge. By this, we can go for PhD and academic only not for the industry. No, there is no visit to industrial companies.
Placement Experience
There is some companies come to our college for the placement. But they don't give good package. To seat into the placement firstly we have to register ourselves. Den there is a written exam and interview.
College Events
There is a Diwali fest in our college. And another three-day fest in our college. Lots of students get the opportunity to show their talent. There is drama, dance and cultural program. Rangoli and face art competition in Diwali fest. Mehndi competition also there to show the talent of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for our college is feasible. We submit our fee by the online mode. There is clear transparency in fee breakdown. There are no additional charges to secure admission to any courses. we pay magazine fee but didn't get any magazine from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, I have a scholarship from inter-university accelerator centre. I got selected via the interview process. And college also provides scholarship to the needy students but I think that amount is much low in comparison to the fee of the college.
Campus Life
I don't know the ratio of male and female into my college. Yes, there are cultural and science societies any student can apply for this. But for sports, there are no couches of sports. Even permanent faculty is very less in our college, therefore, some teachers have lots of responsibility.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I am a hosteller. Hostel rooms are good. But in the gym, there is no machine. Those machines in the gym are not in working conditions. And some washrooms have blockage problem also. The third and fourth floor of our hostel is very dirty every time. Cleaners don't clean these floors.
Alumni/Alumna
My senior is very helpful. She always helps me out with all difficulty during my research work. To Learn the things which I don't know.
Admission
Entrance exam and interview are held for the admission in PhD in Doon University. For admission in BSc and MSc, there is an entrance exam and counselling process. Because it is a government college. I choose this university. And there is hard-working staff also.
Faculty
In PhD, there is only lab work after the pre PhD course. Our labs are not so much stabilise we just have some synthesis and one characterization which is UV-visible spectroscopy. But for research, we need more facilities. Our facility is very hard working they try to establish our lab by different projects.
