T.M.I.M.T. Review

It is good for a person coming from a rural or a backward or a not so developed city. A person like me who was from Delhi and went there, it was very much difficult for me and depressing as I had already lived a fast life and a growing life but when I went there I moved few steps back instead of moving forward.

The overall faculty is not so qualified and also they lack in maintaining the discipline of the course. They groom you according to the corporate world but they doesn't impart certain skills for the corporate world. No Industrial visits were organised for our batch even the students were asking for it. Also, the curriculum is good but no one is much serious about giving the knowledge and enhancing it for the students growth. They aim to provide a 100% placement process but the jobs or the salary structures are not so good giving an average of 3.5 lakhs only.

Companies like HDFC AMC, TCI, Concentrix, Justdial, Paisabazaar, PolicyBazar, Easyday, Flipkart and many more came to our college giving an average salary of 3 lakhs p.a. In the recruitment process, generally there used to be atleast 3 rounds- 1 group discussion round, 1 aptitude test and personal interview. For my batch, around 50% students got placed. Yes, the faculty takes steps and puts great effort to prepare students for the placements. But there are no internship opportunities in this college.

Cultural fests which include Dancing, Singing and other interesting competitions. Model Making, Poster Making Competitions are also held. It gives all the liberty to students to bring the sponsors for the event and manage the stalls for themselves which helps them earn some amount after deducting the expenses.

Fee structure is very feasible. My Program fee was around 1.2 lakhs p.a. excluding the 50% fee concessions for Jain Students which eventually declined for the next batch. They acept cash as well as Online Payment of fees through PhonePe or Paytm or NEFT. No additional charges are required for securing the admission. Yes, there is transparency in the fee structure. Examination fees are required to be paid each semester sepeartely.

Government Scholarships were offered and applied by the students which was asked by the students to apply for. The Sum of the scholarship was around 60000.

The gender ratio was 1:1 as the number of girls and boys was marginally equal in our course. There was no discrimination on the basis of gender, caste, race, religion, etc. It has disciplined kind of environment for such things. There were no Cultural Societies. Only cultural events which helped everyone to showcase their talents.

Yes, I opted for Hostel and it was a Quad Sharing Room with attached bathroom. It had a cost of around 45000 p.a. including the 25% concessions for jain students. They maintained their hostel rooms with the paints and everyday cleaning. The only problem was with the staff who never prompted on time for the service if the lights are damaged or other room problems. There is a canteen below the hostel and all other facilities are there including a gym, garden, cricket ground, etc.

My college seniors were very supportive and helped me in every problem of mine whether it be curriculum or hostel problems or any other problems. Seniors had a great interaction and a great advisory.

One of our relatives suggested about it. We went there to look for the university and admission process. Found the infrastructure and the course to be good and also they were giving special fees concessions to jain students so took admission right away. Admissions are done till August end.

The lecturers were few in our college at around 8 with an average age of 35 out of which of which some were PhDs and some were qualified MBAs or some other Post Graduate. The experienced ones which high age were good in imparting the knowledge and giving the clarity about the topics whereas some were not able to even explain a simple topic. those who were knowledged and experienced gave examples related to industries and everything others were not good at all.
