College Review

Every thing has it's pro's and con's. Our college is good in many ways and somethings still needs a hell lot of improvement.

Most of the Course Curriculum is based as per the structure of Gate examination so if you are thinking of doing something other than that then you are on your own as for Exam structure well they are not too hard or too easy I would scale them for 7/7.5 of 10. And they change from department, some are research driven but mostly are what you learn from textbook nothing practical.

Placement is so-so in our college, basically because it's not near any industrial hub. Internships are provided by Instrumentation department for rest of the departments you gotta find them on your own. Also Placement for Instrumentation is well above 90% for the rest it is around 50%-60%.

PRAGYAA is the tech fest it is good on a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 5. Sports event Zenith is the best event that happens and lot of participants get in each year. As for the cultural event we have Ustav these all events combined last over a week after mid sem break.

It is feasible. You can pay through UPI, SBI collect also through bank challan. No there aren't any additional charges and there is transparency in fee-breakdown. But one of the worst thing is that you have to pay the fees in one transaction itself.

Well, there are a lot of scholarships ranging from category to merit and even according to the financial condition of your house.

There are lot of exta cirricular if you are intrested enough. We got RNXG for Robotcs, Voice club for Debates, Gandharva Drama club, FSDC that's our Dance Club, Avroha the music club and many more. It's just that if you are intreseted then you have the club for it. Gender ratio is good but due to small city there is still some problem within campus regarding Boys and Girls sitting together casually. Sports are also great we got two volleyball courts a ground for Football and cricket also a basketball court and a Tennnis court.

Well we held Alumni meet each year where lot of Alumuns share their opininons and guide us also some even help us in projects and finding internships. And senior students are also a lot of help.

Well one can get into this college after scoring above cutoff in MH-CET or JEE(Mains). The cutoff for MH-CET genrally ranges between (150) for Mechanical Engineering Branch to (80) For Textile Engineering branch and as for JEE marks it varies every year. After clearing the cutoff you will need to freeze the option for this college in ARC.

Faculty of the college change from department to department. Electronics branch does have lot of faculty having done their Doctrate and Mechanical and CSE too. As, far as I can go i mostly understand lectures of few faculty members. Rest are not upto the mark. Some of the faculty which is on temporaary basis are really good. But due to seniority effect they dont get much of the chance to speak.
