Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS course curriculum is 5 years and 6 months in total.first 4.5 years is course period of MBBS and the remaining 1 year is compulsory rotating intership.the internship pwriod is best to grasp the clinical knowledge in medico life.And one can master over clinical knowledge in this period.In our college there is 9 semesters and 4 professional examinations in 4.5 years of course
Placement Experience
In MBBS life no company will visit to hire you.you will get an government job easily as there is scarcity of doctors in India.after completion of intership you can join any private hospital or government setup for practice and you will be paid a fine amount for that.
College Events
Annual function Impulse Soa fest Inter-college championship Ganesh puja Saraswati puja Independence day, republic day etc etc. Gandhi jayanti, kumar purnima, Dusshera, holi, diwali, annual sports meet,annula conferences on various topics like pneumonia,tb,dm,htn etc etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College takes Rs.345000/- per semester from each student.College takes money via demand draft, cheque, neft etc. No there is no additional fee that had to pay to college for admission.yes the college gives transparency in the fee breakdown. Hostel fee is 30000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i have not opted any education loan or scholarship. But my college provides scholarship for its SC/ST students and for those who top in the university exam.
Campus Life
Campus life is best in my view.there are 4 campuses in our university.my campus was campus number 3 which was beside our college and hospital.The college labs are best.these labs are equipped with latest microscopes and latest study materials.the anatomy dissection hall is situated in the ground floor. The college organises an annual function for its student. And every year our college conducts an inter college championship.
Hostel Facilities
Yes i opted for hostel. Hostel rooms are clean and white washed.Hostel rooms are equipped with 3 study tables, 3 chairs and 3 wardrobes.There are 23 rooms in ech floor.and there is 5 floors including ground floor.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors are very much helpful.there is absolutely no ragging in our college due to an active antiragging squad. The seniors are like brothers to us.they help in every odd situation.
Admission
I got admission in this college by entrance exam. I joined this college on 2014.From childhood I wanted to be a doctor.and this college fullfilled my dream.This is the best college in Odisha amongst all the Government and private medical colleges.
Faculty
The facilities are best in their respective fields.they treat us like their own children.The tentative number of lecturers are more than 250 in our college.there are tutors also in each department to teach students. Lecturers are of age less than 55 years and all are highly qualified in medical fields.
