The college of fees

Good is the environment. Bad is the fees structure.

Exam structure is all about the same thing that happens in India, nothing special in the that. No rewards for correct and brief answer and it’s like filling up the pages is that most matters. Exam is conducted locally so faculty becomes partial sometimes with the students according to the image of the student.

Placement in the college is nice. University tries harder to get it’s crowd placed and people do gets placed. But it is not not upto the level that college has. Internships are also provided by the college and that are solely dependent on the connection of students with faculty.

Urja is the best event of every year which last for 2 days of weekend. In this events music, food, dance and other activities come together. Hackathon also comes every year. This event is mostly a technical event which consist of gaming, projects activities. And there are other events for all sorts of people according to the student interest.

Fee structure is too expensive. Fee structure doesn’t define the quality of education that a student would think of the place. The city also has it’s issue as it becomes more expensive of the UPES student because rent also becomes high for outsiders. Moreover the transport is also expensive. So that’s why fee structure becomes expensive.

I have not taken any loan for studies but had some friends who took loan. According to me taking loan for this college is not worth it.

So expensive college comes with a standard that has been set by student itself. Campus life is good and enjoyable, gender ratio is good. Regular workshop are there from different chapters and there is no issue with religion. People enjoy the atmosphere of the place and students from different parts of the country come and study here.

Yes opted for hostel for the first two years as this is the trend of student in the college. Hostels are OK according to the standards but are too expensive. Such that average annual fees of the hostel will be around 1.25 lakhs. After the two years student go for their rented room in which the savings is there.

College seniors are cool and no ragging is there in the college. Moreover college itself introduce the new batch with the seniors and it’s a fun activity.

Admission in the college is very easy to get. Just fill the form and there are good chances of getting the desired branch. Likewise computer science itself has 13 to 14 branches with specialisation and has the best placement for it. Petroleum branches are also there which is a high profile branch of college.

Most of the faculty is not good. Only few of them are really knowledgeable however they are also looking for better opportunities and leaving the university. New faculty are mostly inexperienced so they also lack some interactive qualities however it’s a college and student know how to deal with it.
