Change needed

Our college need some improvement in many areas. specifically in commerce department. Which help in retaining tha name of being the best college of commerce.

Learning experiences is not that good because of the lack of lecturers and irregular classes. It's sad to say that it is happening from may yers but no one is paying attention to the problem. Our class representatives and college student union president have complained several times to the principal and to the University but then also there is no action taken. Some times they provide one or two teachers frome other colleges to complete the course of the semester. And if the college is not being able to provide the required class of the course then what to expect in extra class on grooming, industrial experience etc. And all this I am talking about the commerce department rest of the department are doing quite a bit of good work as compared to our department. Although the teachers who were teaching us are very qualified and experienced in their subjects they are very kind friendly and helpful.

Not experience yet about the placement drive. And I don't have any idea about that. Last year more than 100small and big company were came for the placement drive.

Cultural festival are organised during the year. Some time they organised many social, health awareness program. In that all the students are participating with joy. Annually function are also organised once in the year. Many sport events are also arranged for the students to join the tournament. National festivals are also celebrated here which are really good.

Fess is really normal not expensive. They use to take fees every semester though bank chalan (which is a offline mode of payment). The fees is between 2000-4000 approxbin my cource. Which is realy a good aspect of the college to provide education to all the eligible students out there.

Scholarship is offered by the institute to the student. To apply for the scholarship some documents are needed (you hae to consult to the scholarship department for procedure and documentation) after that you will have to apply online through any Internet cafe or you can fill on your own if you have the proper information. After that take the print out of the online form which is filled and submit it to tha department in the college.

The college in which I am currently studying is boys wing and the girl wing is on other location. So it is harder to assume the gender ratio. Droom parties culture is not practice her. But sometimes college organise debate or a simple seminar to discussion on the political issues and economic consequences of the country which are really important and informative for the students to develope their conversation skill and to developing confidence on their knowledge.

There is no hostel facilities provided by the college because the students are leaving nearby. Those who are came from log distance for studies they have to take private hostel to stay. And students have to pay for the hostel on their own.

Senior student are quite helpful. Bullying and ragging is not allowed in our college. which is a good sign for the students to join in without any hesitation.

I chose this college because its reputation and legacy of decades in commerce sec. And its fee is not so high so it is easy for the students to bear the cost without disturbing the financial stracture of their families. If you have to take admission in this college you will have to verify all the documents required (u have to consult to the staff about the procedure and documentation) after that they will release marit list on the basis of percentage. When your name is displayed on the list then you will have to fill the forms and attach relevant documents and have to pay admissions fee through chalan.

The number of lecturers is very low. The average age of the lecturers is 50+and they are very well qualified and experienced in their work. They are very helpful and friendly and they always try to help us in clearing the subjective doubts and always motivate us in all situations.
