Remarks
The admin staff is also really helpful as they have set up a lost and found department for the things that are lost by the student.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decided by MU and is common for all Engg colleges which are affiliated with MU. It is designed with some old tech in the syllabus and seriously needs some reforms and restructuring of the syllabus irrespective of the fields. The curriculum is more like, only getting a gist of what the tech is about that is currently being used and nothing of getting a practical experience or industry-driven syllabus. It still gives us a better image of the concrete foundation lying deep inside all the latest tech that is driving the industry right now. Including the foundations that are embedded in the syllabus with its actual implementation in real-world problems would be a win-win situation for students to prepare for their placements and their role in the industry.
Placement Experience
College does provide internships to the students who are interested in doing one. The college forwards student's internship application to the companies. The placement opportunity that colleges provide is fairly good but not the best.
College Events
Every year college arranges for a cultural fest as well as a technical fest.A sportsmania is also arranged by the college within college premises for both intra and inter sports competitions. Apart from the events workshops on Technology development and personality development are arranged.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes, the fee breakdown is transparent. And it's on average with all the Engg colleges in MU. During the admission, they ask for that year's fee in advance. If a person wishes to cancel the admission, he/she will be refunded back the fee. The fee doesn't include the cost of extra seminars or workshops arranged by the college committee.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't enroll for an education loan or something of that sort but yes they do have that facility. To avail the facility the student needs to visit the principal's office.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is approximately 10:7. There well-equipped computer labs on campus with a proper environment set to gain skills. There is also G.E equipped Bio med lab for the students from Bio-Med Engg to have the best experience. All the labs are all set with the latest equipment under a technical supervisor for a student to use.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an interaction program organized by the college for students to get a brief about the industry from the alumni meet.
Admission
Got admission through an offline merit list on basis of my MH CET score. There were a set of institute level seats available to the student for offline admission in each branch. Around 30 to 50 in each branch that is Comps, IT, ETRX, EXTC, and BIO MED. I chose this college as it was one of the oldest and finest institutions in the MU
Faculty
Not only with past experience but also equipped with deep knowledge in their respective fields, the faculty members in the college are the best guide. Some of them also have industry experience and research papers done, they are really helpful and supportive to students.
