Remarks

The college management will help you completely telling you every step to address any issue but only if they are in a good mood given a particular day. The registrar's office is the worst and the account section comes next.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's a fair course curriculum. Not very up to date. There are internals and externals. The internals is worth 25 and externals worth 75 for theory and 40 and 60 for practicals. The passing marks for a subject are 40. It is not very much relevant and research-driven. You'll get passed with not very high preparation too. The exams are not that hard.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college seldom provides internships to students under companies that come for placements. Many companies come for placements but most are software based. Basically, 98% chances are if you are a CS/IT student, you''ll graduate the college with an offer in your hand. If you are from a core branch, and you want to get placed in a core branch, you will face some hardships. Not many companies come and you will have to apply on your own.

College Events

4

The annual fest is Techsurge and Mridang (TnM) fest. It is held every year in March end. Many students volunteer in them. It's not the best, considering other fests that happen in other colleges in Delhi. But, it's not all bad. No big names come to perform, but you'll not get bored.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is around 1, 10, 000/year. It includes everything. For hostel the fees is different for various types of rooms with single seater being most expensive, then double seater and then four seater. The fees mentioned above includes Tuition fees and university fees. You can pay another 5000 for book bank and it'll be refunded after you get your degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college doesn't provide scholarship unfortunately. I don't have information about education loan.

Campus Life

3

It is an engineering college so naturally the no. of boys are far more than girls. Especially in the MAE, EEE and ECE branch. Although there are girls in other 2 branches. There are many workshops from societies. The labs can be used for your projects and stuff. Sports Competitions occur and there are trials to make it to the sports team. The volleyball tournament is one of the best tournaments. Sports fest happen annually in January end.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes. The hostel is present inside the campus. Hostel rooms are pretty good. There are 3 types of rooms, single, double sharing, 4 sharing. The fees depend on the type of room you get. You'll get hostel only if you have good connections with the management. Although there are a no. of PGs around the college. There is accommodation of around 180 students. The food in the mess is pretty good and hygienic. The laundry is available. WiFi is also present.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni cell is present. The seniors are very helpful and co-operative. Once can trust them for any issue related to anything.

Admission

There was a CET Common Entrance Test of GGSIPU under which this college comes. According to my rank, I got ECE branch in B-Tech which I wanted to study. But this was in 2016, now, they take admission according to the rank in JEE mains. Once you give your mains in April, you will have your rank by May and you start applying to colleges. Go to the college/university website and follow the process mentioned there.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very co-operative. They help you in your papers and researches. They'll guide you in your practicals. Most of them have Master's Degree from reputed colleges. And many have a doctorate's degree too. They'll also give you marks in your internals openly. They'll keep you up to date with the university's notices.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
