Remarks
Management was somewhere involved in corruption related to admissions I felt though I never saw but heard about all this from rumours which I felt needs to be taken care of by government of india.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is nice as far as the subjects are concerned and it covers almost everything. We had almost 30 subject in 3 years. I felt the subjects were more than enough but the curriculumn lacked the practical exposures for example there was no compulsory internship etc. In the curriculmn which could have been a better thing for taking steps towards the reality than only books and subject knowledge. Though it was advised going for internship in holidays but it was not compulsory which I felt was lacking in curriculumn.
Placement Experience
Yes the college had its own placement cell which invited very reputed companies every year like google and big 4 accounting firms etc. But there was no specific training for placement prepration on the college part. And specific placrmnet percentage I am not sure but It was less than what it should be I felt since it took a lot for getting admission there. It was somewhere around 50 60 percent I guess from campus placement or may be less than that.
College Events
It held annual cultural fests every year plus every department also holds its own fest every year. They were really good and lots of funds are spent on them every year. It had various competitions and prizes as well. Once a year a celebrity was invited also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees was around 7000 per year. It's very feasible as compared to private colleges in town. There was lot of transference in fee breakdown as well. There was no additional fees charges. All in all it was not expensive course since it is a govt university and college too.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes it did offer the scholarship based on the merit plus if the parents were financially not that good.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was not that satisfactory according to me. It was less than 50 percent. One good thing was it had students from many countries and states which added to the plus points. It had debate drama dance sports every society and all those were really good in standards.
Alumni/Alumna
There was no specific chances to interact with seniors or meetings etc. Which I felt was missing and should be provided by the college. Because this was according to me bad thing if we don't get formal chances for interaction with seniors and learn from there experience.
Admission
Hi this course I opted for was considered one of the reputed course for people thinking of mastery in commerce and since I was a commerce student in my school so I opted for this course and my college was one of the most reputed college of delhi university which is considered a good university in india for education so I applied for the merit list on the basis of marks.
Faculty
All the lecturers did hold good qualification eg phd and net etc. Most of them were very highly expertised in their subjects and we're very enthusiastic and well for teaching it. But some of them I felt were not good at delivering the concepts in an understandable way specifically for practical subjects like taxation accounts etc.
