Course Curriculum Overview
I enrolled for Electronics engineering, the curriculum was in line with the central board AICTE that all colleges across India has to follow. As engineering is a Professional Graduation course, the Curriculum is same across India for all Years. During our time Exams were bi yearly total of 8 semesters in 4 years out of which 1st 2nd 7th and 8th semesters were conducted by the universities.
Placement Experience
As we were the first batch of the college, the college was incorporated in year 1999 the year i started my engineering. Actually Vidyalankar was already into Engineering classes business and pretty well known and hence selected this college for my engineering. but as mentioned it was a newly formed college during our time there was no placement available but now after 20 years there is a good line up of companies who give very good placement to the students who pass out from Vidyalankar Institute if Technology
College Events
There were many events that were celebrated during our days like our annual event Verve then inter college events organised by the activity committee. students always had something or the other to do to keep themselves busy and fresh, there was sports event covering up various sports which was also very refreshing from the daily study routine
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is as per the standards set by the Education board of the state or University. the fees was bifurcated into various slabs 1. Free quota where the fees was very nominal 2. Payment seat where the fees during our time was around 70k yearly
Fees and Financial Aid
No i haven't opted for any scholarship or Education Loan. As there was no Loan or scholarship i am unable to provide further data
Campus Life
Students gender ratio was directly based on the Merit list admissions that used to happen so there was equal gender ratio and no partiality. with regards to extra curricular activities we used to have inter college competitions on various topics like coding, robotics, innovation, debates and sports and all these were evaluated by industry big shots and nowadays alumnus of the college who have made big in industry.
Alumni/Alumna
As we have been the first batch we didn't get the chance to avail help from our seniors but we as Alumnus ensure that our students in new batches get our full support via guidance and support on various challenges that have evolved during years and we have faced them practically in life
Admission
Got admission via centralized admission process based on merit list. Attended rounds held in VJTI college of engineering to enroll in one of the best college that was available for me in the percentage that i had acquired in my HSC boards Physics, chemistry and Maths subjects
Faculty
Some of the best faculties were at dispose to the students providing personal attention to students needs, and thats the reason why there was never a need for tution classes, i managed to pass all my semesters without classes. Professors like Anand Sir for Maths, Kennedy sir for Engineering Drawing are some the very well known names in the industry who used to teach us in college
